We're still looking for independent thinkers to enter our Traitors competition and give us their view of Nissan's new 370Z. Do you know what makes a car special? Can you write about it? If so, register NOW to become a Traitor.

In return, we'll give you a new 370Z for two weeks and set you a special challenge to help find out what you think makes a Z car so special. And you'll get to write about it all for Top Gear.

Push the button to win the chance of taking part in this unique opportunity.

  • Like the Jolly Roger above a pirate ship, the Traitors flag flew proudly over proceedings at the Top Gear track on 15th June.

  • The Nissan / Top Gear Traitors were divided into four groups, to complete four separate challenges during the day.

  • Which included the Drive Out - a 26 mile route on challenging roads around the Dunsfold area, providing a great chance to put the 370Z's handling to the test.

  • And then there was the Autotest, A hugely competitive element of the event that was run in pairs, all against the clock.

  • Expert tuition and candid advice were available all day long - but nobody was expecting a surprise passenger joining them for the ride.

  • The Autotest included a Le Mans style dash to the car at the start plus driver change at the half way point to achieve a combined time across two Traitors.

  • More than a handful of those taking part were more than happy to push the 370Z to the limits.

  • For many people, the chance to lap the Top Gear track at speed was the highlight of the day.

  • Each Traitor set a lap time after a session of tuition, most crossing the famous start/finish line facing the right direction. Most...

  • The fourth discipline of the day was the Batak test, a measure of reaction time that some found quite easy. And some found more of a challenge...

  • For the winner, a set of full speed laps in Nissan's 'other' sports car - the GT-R, with The Stig at the wheel - was a prize to cherish forever.

  • And that winner was... Scotland's Stuart Gilbert. In his own words, "one of the most incredible days in the world. Ever".
